The Proxidyne LoRa Sensor Node is the device that connects to all the Proxidyne sensor inputs and sends back any changes to the bridge or LoRaWAN gateway (up to 15 km away). The Proxidyne Sensor Node has Bluetooth LE and LoRaWAN radio to connect Proxidyne sensors or iBeacon-enabled devices to a LoRaWAN network. Sensor inputs include any of the Proxidyne Wireless Buttons, a Proxidyne Motion Sensor, aProxidyne Wearable Beacon or any iBeacon-compatible device. When the sensor node detects a change in a nearby sensor, this information is sent back to the bridge over LoRa, a long range iOT communcation link. The communication is secured by symmetric keys using AES128 encryption. You configure the keys on the sensor node and the bridge to secure the information on the link.
You can also have hundreds of sensor nodes sending sensor inputs back to the bridge over the long range communication link. Since LoRa uses an unlicensed band (900 Mhz), there are no monthly carrier fees for node communcation.
